
For supporting the main priorities of the Williamsburg Community Foundation, a group of donors was honored Wednesday.
The foundation held a reception for its Chairman’s Circle of Donors. Members contribute gifts of $1,000 or more to the areas to the foundation’s endowment, scholarships or annual fund.
Steve Munday of Creative Cuisines hosted the event in an updated party space on Garrison Drive, off Monticello Avenue in the City of Williamsburg.

Community Action Agency Hosts Lunch with Future Voters
In honor of Head Start Awareness Month in October, the Williamsburg-James City County Community Action Agency invited government officials to see the organization’s program.
State legislators, along with local government officials, attended a lunch Oct. 28 at the Historic Triangle Community Services Center. It included a short program by Head Start children singing in English and Spanish, and speeches by clients on other services they have received through the agency.
