Buddy Art recently wrapped up its fall session, and now is the time to sign up for spring classes.
Buddy Art is a program that provides art activities for children with special needs or physical disabilities. The program is free and is sponsored by This Century Art Gallery in cooperation with student volunteers from the College of William & Mary and James City County Parks and Recreation.
Buddy Art celebrated the end of its fall session with its traditional Art Show and Cookie Decorating Party in early November. The spring 2013 session resumes on Saturday, January 26.
Classes are scheduled for these Saturdays: January 26; February 2, 16, 23; and March 16, 23. Classes run from 3 to 4 p.m. in rooms A and B at the JCC Recreation Center on Longhill Road. The program is free.
