Williamsburg Landing and the Riverside Center for Excellence in Aging & Geriatric Health co-sponsored a Caregivers’ Spa Day earlier this month.
The event honored caregivers during November’s National Caregivers Month and was held at Williamsburg Landing’s Health Club & Spa. Caregivers participated in informational sessions, LaStone massages, manicures, yoga and water aerobics, culminating in a luncheon presentation.
Guest speaker Charlie Martino, a caregiver for the past five years, shared with the audience helpful tools and resources in caring for a loved one. This inaugural event was open to the public and free of charge.
