La Tolteca, a restaurant on Richmond Road, will host a fundraiser for a local woman and mom of three who is battling cancer.
April Jones, a 40-year-old mother of six-year-old triplets, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June. She will undergo several surgeries starting a few days after Christmas, and La Tolteca will be raising money for her on Monday, Nov. 26.
That day, the restaurant will donate a percentage of its receipts between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. to Jones; guests should just mention Jones to their server during the meal. Donations are also being accepted at the restaurant on her behalf.
