MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — William & Mary senior goalkeeper Maddie George was selected to the 2024 NFHCA Senior Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
George was one of 38 players from 32 Division I intuitions to be recognized. She was also one of just four CAA players, joining Monmouth’s Jess Tucker, Northeastern’s Lauren Rowe, and Drexel’s Liz Chapman, to garner the honor. George is the 26th player in school history to be recognized.
Thanks to the generosity of former Mary Washington head coach and donor Karren Mann, the NFHCA is able to recognize the Senior Team. Each selected student-athlete will receive a personalized engraved award commemorating this special recognition. In addition to the video announcement, custom Senior Team apparel is available for purchase online.
