WILLIAMSBURG — After excelling in the gym and the classroom, five William & Mary men’s gymnastics standouts were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
Malcolm Baytop, Aidan Cuy, Alek Kuzmenchuk, Sam Lee and Evan Sikra garnered the distinction, while Cuy was chosen as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and advances to the national ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 17, 2024.
All five standouts were significant contributors for the Tribe this season and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.
The impressive group highlighted another outstanding year academically for the program, as the team posted a cumulative combined GPA of 3.53 in 2023-24. Additionally, 12 men’s gymnasts earned W&M’s Provost Award for academic excellence.
