WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary men’s tennis moved up three more spots in the ITA National Team Rankings, presented by Tennis-Point, on Tuesday. The Tribe came in at No. 68 in the national rankings this week.
The ranking is the Tribe’s second best this year after coming in at No. 65 on Feb. 27. It marks the fifth-straight week that W&M has appeared in the national rankings.
The Tribe went 2-1 last week, posting victories over Wichita State, 4-1, and New Mexico in thrilling 4-3 fashion. The Green and Gold is 9-7 on the year with six of its seven setbacks coming to nationally-ranked opponents.
W&M is one of three CAA teams in the national rankings along with No. 44 Delaware and No. 74 Monmouth.
The Tribe continues its road trip at No. 57 Liberty on Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. W&M returns home with a CAA match against Elon on Monday, March 25, at 3:30 p.m.
