DANBURY, Conn. — After an outstanding performance at the Springfield dual meet on Sunday, William & Mary standout men’s gymnast Ricky Pizem was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Co-Specialist of the Week.
En route to helping W&M post its best team total this season, Pizem won the high bar title with a career-best 13.5. The Brecksville, Ohio native also competed as a member of the pommel horse and vault lineups.
A fixture in all three lineups last season, Pizem competed as an individual qualifier on vault and high bar last season at the NCAA Championships.
W&M will return to action when it competes in a virtual meet against Cal at Williamsburg Gymnastics on Sunday at 3 p.m.
