Poquoson proved too much for Warhill to handle as the Lions fell 8-1 at home on Thursday.
Warhill’s Jackson Cummins defeated Sam Washburn at No. 1 singles 6-3, 7-6 (7-4). Cummins’ win proved Warhill’s lone match victory of the day.
The Lions struggled in doubles play, dropping all three matches during the loss.
Warhill (4-6) will look to rebound on the road against New Kent on Tuesday.
