Lafayette’s volleyball team cruised to a decisive straight-set victory against Denbigh at home Friday night 25-4, 25-16, 25-9.
After a dominating first set that Lafayette won by 21 points, the Rams began getting reserve players into the game.
Despite bringing in backups, the Rams still cruised to nine- and 16-point victories in the second and third sets, respectively.
Abby Goetsch paced Lafayette with 21 assists and three digs, while Lindsay Wainwright added 10 kills and five digs.
Lafayette (9-7) will look for back-to-back wins when the Rams hit the road to play Poquoson on Tuesday.
