Walsingham Academy’s boys soccer team routed Richmond Christian at home Thursday by a final margin of 7-0.
Six different players scored for the Trojans, who got two goals and an assist from Ryan Dorsett. Max Rinaldi, Connor Norris, Kelau Smith, Luke Pitchford and Holden Kearns also scored for Walsingham.
By halftime, Walsingham held a 4-0 advantage over Richmond Christian.
The scoring clip did not slow in the second half as Walsingham added three more goals en route to a commanding 26-1 shot differential.
The Trojans (3-4-1) are back to their winning ways and will hope to continue that trend at home against Portsmouth Christian on Tuesday.

HRA Completes Comeback Against Atlantic Shores
After trailing 2-1 at halftime, Hampton Roads Academy scored three goals in the second half to take down Atlantic Shores Christian 4-3 at home Thursday.
Despite conceding two first-half goals, HRA kept Atlantic Shores Christian on its heels for a good portion of the game. By the final whistle, the Navigators recorded 19 shots on goal to Atlantic Shores’ seven.
Sam Wash scored HRA’s lone goal in the first half before Patrick Phillips and Jalen Johnson got on the board in the second half. Johnson later added the game-winning goal on his second of the night.
The Navigators (4-1) will have some down time before they resume their season on the road against Trinity Episcopal on Sept. 24.
