Boys Tennis
The Grafton boys tennis team came up just short against Clover Hill at home Tuesday.
The Clippers split the singles matches 3-3 with Clover Hill before dropping two doubles matches by one game.
Grafton falls to 1-1 on the season and will host Nansemond River at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Walsingham Academy Edges Bruton
Walsingham Academy defeated Bruton’s boys tennis team 5-4 at home Tuesday.
The Trojans took four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches to hang on to the narrow win.
Walsingham improves to 2-1 on the season while Bruton drops to 1-1.
The Trojans will play at home against Norfolk Academy at 4 p.m. Thursday, while Bruton will host Maggie Walker at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The Warhill Lions girls tennis team struggled against Mathews, losing each set Tuesday.
Warhill drops to 1-1 on the season and will look to rebound against Smithfield at home at 4 p.m. March 31.
