After struggling at the lower weights, Smithfield dominated the middle-to-heavy weight classes en route to a convincing first-place finish at the Conference 19 wrestling tournament.
Smithfield finished the tournament with 217 points — 39.5 points ahead of Tabb, who finished in second place.
The host Tigers had a pair of winners with Zach Andrews taking first at the 132 weight class and Bailey Hicks claiming the top spot at 152 pounds.
Grafton finished in fourth place overall with 106 points with Brian DiCesare taking first place in the 138 weight class.
Jamestown finished in fifth place as a pair of wrestlers won in the lower weight classes. Xane Austin won the 120 weight class, and Caden Darber stood atop the podium at 126.
