Mark Seaman scored a game-high 26 points during Walsingham Academy’s 67-38 defeat of the Hampton Roads Cougars at home Saturday.
The game was out of hand early as the Trojans jumped out to a 20-5 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
Richard Washington scored 20 points for the Trojans in the win.
Walsingham (20-5, 6-2) continues its season Tuesday when the Trojans host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.

Seaman Carries Trojans Past Cougars
Stephanie Seaman continued her impressive season by recording another 20-point game, scoring 23 during Walsingham’s 57-43 home win against the Hampton Roads Cougars.
Christine McBeath added 11 points for Walsingham (12-9, 3-4).
The Trojans continue their season when they host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy on Tuesday.

Eagles Soar Past Norfolk Christian
In a matchup between highly ranked teams — Williamsburg Christian (19-3) is the top team in the VISAA Division III, while Norfolk Christian is the second in Division II — Charnissa Chillers rose to the occasion, scoring a season-high 30 points to give the Eagles a 62-52 road win Saturday.
Imani Bryant assisted in the win by logging a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Daizhua Jones scored 11 points for the Eagles.
