Williamsburg Christian Academy’s athletic director earned a high honor for those in his profession.
David Clark has been recognized as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association for the second consecutive year, according to a news release.
The NIAAA is a national professional organization consisting of all 50 state athletic administrator associations and more than 8,000 individual members. The certification process includes a thorough evaluation of each candidates educational background, experience and professional contributions.
“David has demonstrated exemplary knowledge, contributions and on-going professional development in the field of interscholastic administration,” according to the NIAAA release.
Clark is entering his second year as WCA’s head athletic director. He previously served as an assistant under former AD John Perkins before being promoted prior to the start of the 2013-14 school year.
