
Warhill’s girls soccer team is well-represented on the inaugural 3A all-Colonial Rivers Conference 25 girls soccer team announced Tuesday.
The Lions, who won the conference tournament title last week, put three players on the all-conference first team and swept top honors as midfielder Lindsey Williams was named Player of the Year, while her father, Todd Williams, was voted Coach of the Year.
Lindsey Williams, who will play on full scholarship alongside her older sister Ashley at the University of Richmond in the fall, has anchored Warhill’s attack this season, leading led the Lions with 19 goals and seven assists this season.
Defenders Shaye Doherty and Tammi Stauffer also received first team honors for Warhill.
Other local players to earn all-conference first team honors were Lafayette forward Carson Pokorny, midfielder Catie Savarese and defender Peyton Kilgore, along with York forward Madison Van Dyke, midfielder Michelle Shin and defender Madison Dillard.
