The final seedings and brackets for the 3A Colonial Conference 25 baseball and softball tournaments were released Friday and showed some Bay Rivers District teams facing off in the first-round matchups scheduled for Memorial Day.
In baseball, top-seeded Lafayette, which shared this year’s Bay Rivers District crown with Grafton, will host No. 8 Warhill at 11 a.m. on the Rams’ home field at Warhill District Park.
York softball, which won this year’s district title outright, will host Bay Rivers District rival Poquoson in the No. 2 vs. No. 7 matchup at 5 p.m. at York High.
The semifinals and championship games will all be held at York High School on Wednesday and Thursday, May 29.
