Roundup: Lafayette Baseball Win Streak Halted by New Kent in Extra Innings

Michael Carpenter hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift New Kent’s baseball team past Lafayette 6-5 on Wednesday.

After getting one back in the bottom of the sixth, the Trojans (8-3 BRD) rallied for the game-tying run during their final at bat to send the game to extra innings.
