York continues winning streak, Tabb ends skid.
Defending Bay Rivers District Player of the Year Hannah Olson drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double in the third inning, which was all the run support Grafton needed to defeat Warhill 3-0 on Thursday.
The Clippers got another excellent pitching performance from Kayley Cox, who held the Lions to no runs on six hits to earn her second shutout victory of the season. Last Friday, Cox earned the win after blanking district favorite Smithfield 1-0.
The win was a nice rebound for Grafton, which lost its unbeaten record after losing to York 4-2 on Tuesday. The Clippers are now 4-1 on the season while Warhill saw its three-game winning streak snapped to fall to 3-2.
