For the third consecutive week, rain has washed out nearly the entire slate of local sports contests scheduled for Tuesday.
All of Tuesday’s Bay Rivers District baseball and softball games have been postponed until Wednesday, except for the Bruton-Tabb games, which have each been moved to Thursday.
Tonight’s much-anticipated Jamestown-Tabb boys soccer game has also been rescheduled for Wednesday at Tabb High. The Tigers Athletic Director Susan Wiker said if Tabb’s field is still unplayable Wednesday, the game will shift over to Bailey Field. The Jamestown-Tabb girls soccer game will be played as scheduled at 7 p.m. today at Wanner Stadium.
Tonight’s Warhill-York boys soccer game at Cooley Field has also been postponed, with the makeup date set for Tuesday, April 23 at Cooley Field, with JV playing at 5:30 and varsity following at 7. The York-Warhill girls game will be played as planned at 7 p.m. at Bailey Field.
