Bruton’s Joey Monk and Jamestown’s Christina Herbert led all golfers, shooting a one-over par 73 while the Eagles wrapped up their sixth-straight team victory Wednesday at Cypress Creek.
Trevor Tremps (78), Matt Meadows (78) and Emily Salamy (81) rounded out Jamestown’s top four, as the Eagles ended the day with a 310 – 13 strokes better than second-place York (323) and Warhill (323).
The Eagles improved to nearly 70 strokes ahead of second-place York in the current district standings with four regular-season matches left.
After a sluggish start to the season, it was the second consecutive runner-up finish for Warhill as the Lions continued to climb the district ladder to sixth in the overall standings.
