Two New Town Restaurants Set to Host Comedy Showcases this Weekend

WILLIAMSBURG — Two restaurants in the New Town section of Williamsburg will be hosting comedy show cases on March 4 and 5 respectively.

The shows will feature comics from all over the state including Virginia Beach and Northern Virginia. It will also be a part of comedian and show organizer Noel Goodman’s effort to bring live comedy to the Historic Triangle.

Starting at 8 p.m. on Friday at K’Bola Cuban Restaurant, 5201 Center St., local comic Noel Goodman will host a comedy show featuring comics Addison Hall, Anthony Perez and Brandon Romo.

Tickets are not required to attend the show, however reservations can be made by going to the K’Bola website.

On Saturday, March 5 at Pisco 51, 4917 Courthouse St., Noel will again act as the Master of Ceremonies for another showcase again starting at 7 p.m. The bill for this show features Jounte Ferguson, Kevin Bianchi, Isaac Fields, Travis Carl and John Gilbreath.

After the comedy show, the venue will be transform into a dance club starting at 10 p.m.

There is no cost for the comedy show and seats are first come first serve.
