Frimet Lee Stupar, 88, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, in Newport News, VA.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Frimet resided on the Virginia Peninsula for the past 43 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sheldon. Frimet is survived by her four children: Michael (Rosanne), Eric, Patti (Jake), and Randi (Craig); seven grandchildren: S’chailer, Aliyah, Valeri (Daniel), Jacob, Elana (Kenneth), Haley, and Ashlee and one great-grandchild: Kenny.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Jewish Cemetery of the Virginia Peninsula, 1817 Kecoughtan Road, Hampton, VA. Baruch Dayan Ha-Emet (Blessed is the True Judge).
