Norma Bohr Radvany, 90, of Varina, passed away on August 24, 2026.
She is survived by her husband Steve Radvany, and her children Tom, Ronnie (Karen), Joe (Cindy), Tim, Andy and Norma (Akshay). She is preceded in death by her son Steve Jr.
Norma and Steve began their lifelong journey together when they married at the ages of 18 and 19. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with seven children and four grandchildren. Norma’s capacity for love extended far beyond her immediate household; as she acted as a second mother and grandmother to numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. When she became a grandmother, she was affectionately known by all as “Shoo Shoo.”
Norma joked that she would not leave her house without lipstick, even to go to the mailbox. She loved drinking Pepsi and she did not miss her standing Thursday hair appointment for any reason. Norma anchored her family and community with love, and her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family.
