Dudley “Junior” St. Pierre, 65, of Yorktown, Virginia, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2026, with his loving wife and son by his side.
Junior was known for his quick wit and loved making people laugh. He had a deep passion for life and especially enjoyed his career as a truck driver. He loved deep-sea fishing, hunting, and following NHRA drag racing. He was also incredibly proud of his Cajun heritage and never missed an opportunity to let others know he was from Louisiana. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of the outdoors, his Cajun spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; his sister, Patty; his brother, Patrick; his nephew, Shawn and his dear friends, Walter Ethridge of Seaford and Terry Walker of Denbigh.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa St. Pierre of Yorktown; his son, Jeremy St. Pierre, and wife, Shannon, along with their daughters, Reese and Josie, all of Yorktown; his daughter, Aubrey of Giles, and her daughter, Alexus of Arizona; his sister, Jackie of Newport News; his nephews, Michael of Norfolk, Damien of Lanexa, Adam and Aaron of Gloucester, and Jonathan, Derek, and Jesse; his niece, Shelly of Hampton; his brother-in-law, Jimmy of Gloucester; many beloved cousins in Louisiana as well as countless friends whose lives he touched and whose love and support for him were evident throughout his final days.
A Celebration of Junior’s Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church in Yorktown, VA. The service will be officiated by Junior’s dear friend, Gene Stowell, who will honor Junior’s life and legacy. A fellowship reception will immediately follow the service.
