Huda Dauod (Weymouth Funeral Home & Crematory)

Huda Dauod, 82, died on Thursday, July 2, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Huda was born and raised in a beautiful town called Zabadani in Syria.

She grew up learning about sewing. She had an extraordinary talent for designing beautiful bridal dresses with remarkable skill, creativity and attention to every detail.

She was married to George Daoud for 25 years before he died at the age of 56 after a long journey with cancer. She faced it with a very strong spirit and raised four kids by herself. She was their mom and dad at the same time.

She is survived by her four children, Hanan, Manal, Khalil, Daoud; her son-in-law, John and her grandchildren, Jude and Giada.

She came to the USA in 2012 and stayed with her daughter and her son-in-law, John. She loved America. Even though she didn’t speak English, she was able to communicate with American people using her own smile and making gestures.

Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, Jude and Giada. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for them.

Huda believed in the power of sharing whatever she had; always helped when she was needed.

She embraced life with an open heart and joyful spirit. She found beauty in everyday moments. Her love for life was contagious. She had a way of making every gathering warmer and every day brighter.

After enduring a long illness, she passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering strength, unconditional love and remarkable faith.

Her smile, kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Her love will continue to shine in every life she touched.

Forever loved, deeply missed and never forgotten.

May she rest in eternal peace!
