Sandra Thurman Hunt, 79, of Little Plymouth, VA passed away peacefully at her home Monday, June 22, 2026.
She loved her family and was very tolerant of all her daughters’ animals from the animal shelter. Her grandson, Kyle, was the light of her life and his wife Rachael was truly like her granddaughter.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Hunt; a daughter, Jennifer Hunt and a granddaughter, Caitlin Martin. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Sherry and David Martin; a sister and her husband, Nancy and Chuck Sillery; a brother and his wife, Victor and Patricia Thurman; sister, Robin Thurman; sister-in-law, Nancy Zick; her grandson and his wife, Kyle and Rachael Martin; a great-grandson, Mason; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
