Randall Charles “Randy” Rodgers, 59, passed away of natural causes on June 5, 2026.
Born on October 16, 1966, Randy lived a life defined by service, kindness, loyalty, and generosity. Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, he had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. He was thoughtful, considerate, and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.
Above all else, Randy loved his daughters, Lauren and Ashley, and was immensely proud of them. His love for his family was evident in all that he did.
Randy enjoyed working with his hands and expressing his creativity through woodworking and various building projects. Whether helping a friend complete a project or creating something from scratch, he found joy in sharing his talents with others.
A true patriot, Randy proudly and honorably served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and the Virginia Army National Guard, achieving the rank of Captain. He graduated from Richland High School in 1984 and earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and MBA in Marketing from Marymount University. He retired from ExxonMobil after 27 years of service.
Randy will be remembered for his laughter, his generosity, his unwavering loyalty, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, his memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Randy is survived by his beloved daughters, Lauren (Rodgers) Freund and her husband, James Freund, and Ashley Rodgers; his cherished grandson, Jacob Freund; his loving parents, Robert “Buck” I. Rodgers and Sharon (Bell) Rodgers; his sister, Kimberly Rodgers Martin and her husband, Chuck Martin; his brother, Erik Rodgers and his wife, Jennie Rodgers; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and colleagues who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
A date for a celebration of Randy’s life will soon be announced.
