Joseph Allen Richardson, known to most as Joe, was a man of many talents. His greatest gift was his natural ability to create art in the form of tattoos. With a steady hand, he left his mark on many who trusted him with their artistic expression.
Joe’s deepest passion was being a father who provided for, loved, and protected his family. He lived by his motto: “Family First.” Anyone who knew Joe knew him for his care for others above himself. He was an expression of love and selflessness.
Joe passed away peacefully on June 13 at the age of 35, but he will live on through his beloved children, Lucien, Scarlett, Leviathan, Lochlan, and Constantine, and Natasha, his devoted wife and partner in all things.
Preceded in death by his mother, Angela Marie Richardson, earlier this year, Joe leaves behind a tapestry of family and friends who will keep his memory alive through fond memories and every story shared. He is survived by his father, William Richardson; sister, Holli Richardson; brother-in-law, Zack Drake; and mother-in-law, Candy Drake, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His second mother, Shelly Banks, and her wife, Angela, along with nieces and nephews Emilia, Joshua, Cypress, Blake, Oakley, MJ, Sabastian, Gabriella, and Brodey, will carry on his legacy.
Join us in celebrating Joe’s life and the indelible mark he left on ours. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 26, at 6:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. Come as you are, just as Joe would have wanted.
