Charles Zachary Woody, aged 57, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away on June 5, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1968, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to the late Charles Thomas and Janzena Murchison Woody.
Charles was a dedicated Certified Fitness Trainer at Ironbound Fitness, where he inspired many with his passion and commitment to health and wellness. A proud graduate of Denbigh High School, he continued his education at Christopher Newport University, where he forged lifelong friendships and honed the skills that would define his career.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rodney Montague, and his sister Beverly Montague. He leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Lewis Robinson, sisters Agnes McGrath (Jim) and Ursula McNeil, and a cherished extended family of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and a great-niece. His beloved dog, Ella, also survives him, along with countless friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
A celebration of life will be held at Iron-Bound Gym on June 25th from 5-7 pm. In loving memory of Charles’ love for DC and Marvel, themed shirts and costumes are appreciated. Charles will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
