Kristian Shante Green, 34, of Williamsburg

Kristian Shante Green (Whiting’s Funeral Home)

On May 25, 2026, Kristian Shante Green, our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, affectionately known as “Kris,” was called home unexpectedly at the tender age of 34. Though she has departed this world, the love she gave and the lives that she has touched will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

Kris was well known for her bubbly, bright, and outgoing personality. After graduating from Woodside High School in 2010, she continued her education, attending Ferrum College and graduating from Everest College, earning the title of Medical Assistant. Driven by her love for making others feel beautiful, she continued her education, earning a Nail Technician Certification. This skill paired perfectly with her lifelong passion for hair maintenance and makeup artistry.

Kris had the biggest heart for taking care of others, a quality that was evident in everything she did. Throughout her life, she lovingly cared for children with autism and provided compassionate support to the elderly.

She brought such color and enthusiasm to life through her love for the Dallas Cowboys and being a sunflower enthusiast. She also adored lip prints, a sweet passion she shared with her mother.

Continuing to cherish her memory and celebrating her beautiful life are her loving mother, Angela Whiting and father, Frederick Green; a beautiful blended family, including her bonus dad, William Whiting and bonus mother, Tara Green; her sisters, Korin Green (Marcus Johnson), Zasha Beck (Aksel Beck), Shatoya Whiting (Eva Ferreira), and Kara Green; her brother, William Whiting III; her favorite tiny people who called her auntie, Marcus Johnson Jr., Zoey Johnson, and Alani Whiting; three grandmothers, Betty Weaver, Laura Green, and Linda Howard; her grandfather Woody Green Sr; her uncle Woody Green Jr. (Herman); as well as a beautiful circle of close family who were proud to be her village.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Whiting’s Funeral Home, with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m.
