Dalton Bahle Dunlap, 31, of Lanexa, Virginia, passed away May 23, 2026.
Dalton was born on January 30, 1995, in Albany, Georgia. He was Christened and raised in the Christian faith attending the First Presbyterian Church in Albany. Dalton lived in Leesburg, Georgia, until moving to Lexington, South Carolina in 2009. In 2013 he graduated from Lexington High School, and later attended Midlands Technical College, where he graduated in 2015 as a certified machinist. Dalton worked as a machinist for 11 years for various companies, most recently for North Wind through Aerotek in South Carolina.
In his free time, Dalton enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, playing with his two dogs – Nova and Lucy, and above everything, being a loving dad.
Dalton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda Sigmon Watson, William Larry Watson, and Ray Dunlap.
He is survived by his loving fiancée, Bobbie Nutter; his son, William Ray Dunlap; his parents, Lisa Marie Harris (Watson) and Scott Ray Dunlap; his brother, Matthew Scott Dunlap; grandmother, Sara Ernestine Dunlap (Goodroe); half siblings, Cara Lynn McGee and Brendan Ray Cheshire; his uncle, Christopher (Chris) Mark Watson; his aunt, Rhonda Jean Evans (Dunlap) (Tony); and numerous cousins and friends.
Dalton was loved by all! He was a caregiver to everyone, and he never met a stranger – even stopping to help someone in need on the side of the road in the middle of the night. He loved fiercely.
The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm, Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181.
A Memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 220 N. Jackson Street, Albany, GA on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11 am.
