Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Darden, and her brothers, James, John, and Thomas Darden.

Above all else, Sandra treasured her family. Her world revolved around her girls and the loved ones she held close to her heart. She leaves behind her loving mother, Clementine Darden; her devoted daughters, Sherri Hamiel (son Kirby) and Tyanna Edmonds (son Montreal); her cherished granddaughters, Sherri “My Pooh” McLean (her favorite dancer), Miya “My Pooch” Edmonds, and Talia Edmonds, who brought immeasurable joy to her life; sisters, Juanita Thomas and Barbara James; nieces and nephews; along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
