Debra Ann Salisbury, born on September 23, 1959, in Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 66.
Debra dedicated her life to service and care, first as a proud Navy Veteran and later as an Operating Room Attendant at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her professional life into her personal endeavors as well. She was a devoted volunteer with “A Gift from Ashley and Ben,” a food distribution charity close to her heart.
Her love for gardening was matched only by the joy she found in spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Kaydence, Gabi, and Lyric. Debra’s nurturing spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary, and her sister, Karen. She leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply: her devoted husband, Dale; her son, Andrew; her daughter, Andrea and daughter-in-law Dawn; her grandchildren, Kaydence, Gabi, and Lyric; and her sister, Sharon Gibson, and brother-in-law, Jim.
A visitation will be held at Bucktrout Funeral Home from 4-7 pm on Friday, May 29th. Debra will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN, on Wednesday, July 15th at 1 pm.
Her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
