Alfred Lewis Cutrone, 96, passed on May 8, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie R. Cutrone, 91, and his two daughters Terry Cutrone Grimm (Bill) of Chesapeake, VA and Crystal Sue Roberts (Charlie) of Williamsburg, VA. Their son, Alfred Lewis Cutrone, Jr (Chris) of Fairhope, AL is deceased.
Al was born in Fairmont, WV to Saverio and Anna Cutrone and was the youngest of five siblings all of which are deceased; Lee, Patsy, Mary, Rudolph and Samuel all of Fairmont, WV.
Al’s life was a full life being proud of his Italian heritage and of being a West Virginian. He was a hard-working husband and father that worked at Owens Illinois until his retirement. He could do anything he put his mind to from building his two homes and designing and building rocking horses for his grandchildren. His artistic talents included a wide range of abilities such as dancing, singing, painting and drawing. He loved lifting his voice in song as he praised the Lord even if he sang all of the words wrong. Jesus Christ was his Savior and Lord. AL’s sense of humor always kept us laughing with his jokes and his way of pronouncing words incorrectly.
Al is survived by his grandchildren Whitney and Nicholas Cutrone of Fairhope, AL, Benjamin (Amanda) Grimm of Melbourne, FL and Kristin Grimm-Nichols with great grandchildren Trinity and Tyler Nichols and Isabella Grimm.
Al always ended a phone call or time together with this; “ Chick-a-malou and Out!”
