Today we say goodbye to a brother and friend, Michael Anthony DeSalvo.
Mike was the eldest son of Leonard and Marion DeSalvo. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Mari Anita and Timothy.
Left to remember him are his siblings, Christine (Gary) Laney, Thomas (Candy) DeSalvo, and Bobbie Burbic. He is also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, who brought him great joy.
Mike was an administrative assistant at Verizon for over 35 years before retiring. He was very devoted to his church, involving himself in many ministries such as Outreach, food pantry, sacristan and other various ministries. After retirement, he volunteered with WHRO and CNU Fergusion Center. He enjoyed family gatherings and going to soccer games for his grandnephew. Mike especially loved home cooked meals.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Food Pantry, Ascension Food Panty or your favorite charity.
Grant eternal rest to Mike, O Lord,
and may perpetual light shine upon him.
