Nancy Anglin Deel of Williamsburg, beloved friend, mother, Mimi, and sister passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the age of 66.
Lifelong resident of the peninsula, Nancy was a Hampton High School graduate who went on to work a short time at NASA, and eventually Walmart where she retired after nearly 20 years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Anglin, and her mother, Betty Lockhart Anglin.
She is survived by her significant other, Freddie Willis; her son, James Brown (Kristen); her two beloved grandchildren, Jordyn and Riley Brown; and her brother, Malcolm Anglin (Carla Mingee).
Nancy always found joy in the simple things in life. Time together while Freddie worked on cars, fishing and junk yard trips, swapping funny messages with her son and grandchildren, and watching her favorite shows. Her constant presence will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
