Cynthia “Cindy” Diane Pair, 66, of New Kent, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2026.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Silas Auman Pair; stepfather, Robert M. Locks; and sister-in-law, Kalpana Nidhi Kapil-Pair.
She is survived by her fiancé, George Hailey; her mother, Mary D. Locks; her brother Robert D. Pair; her sister, Lisa P. Walters (Wayne); 6 nephews Nikhil Pair, Jet Pair, Axel Pair, Zaven Pair, Baxter Strydom and Blake Strydom; her aunt, Harriet Deloach; along with numerous cousins and friends.
Cindy attended New Kent County schools and lived a decade in Florida before returning to Virginia. After attending Virginia Commonwealth University, Cindy worked in social services with an emphasis on disabled children and senior citizens.
Cindy was a loving, funny, and generous person. Before ever thinking of herself, she thought of others, always reaching out with a helping hand to those in need. Cindy never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her. She was a devoted dog mom to her Yorkshire Terrier children. No one loved Yorkshire Terriers more than Cindy! She was artistic with a sense of humor that could always made her nephews laugh! Cindy will be missed by all.
A service honoring Cindy will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Virginia 23140. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
