Bertha Alease Jenkins, 95, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away in her home on November 6, 2025, with her family at her bedside.
Originally from Halifax, NC, she lived most of her life in Newport News, VA, with her husband of 75 years, the late Jessie Ray Jenkins.
She is survived by her four children, Larry (Sandra), Deborah Bradshaw (Bill), Mark (Susan), and Ronald (Shandra), as well as 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A retired homemaker, she was a member of the Warwick Assembly of God Church.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will immediately follow visitation at Peninsula Memorial Park.
