Timothy Wayne Watson, fondly known as Tim, passed away peacefully in Norfolk, Virginia, on October 22, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 3, 1962, in Gallatin, Tennessee, Tim was a man whose life was filled with love, laughter, and dedication.
Tim devoted his professional life to masonry, a craft that allowed him to work with his hands—a talent he cherished and honed throughout his years. He was not only skilled in his trade but was also passionate about his hobbies. He took great pleasure in collecting antiques, coins, and tools, each piece reflecting a story or memory he treasured. His love for yard work and gardening was evident in the lush and vibrant gardens he cultivated, offering beauty to all who passed by.
Those who knew Tim would say he was a comedian at heart. He loved to make people laugh at every opportunity, bringing joy and light into the lives of those around him. His sense of humor was matched only by his warmth and kindness; he was a helpful and caring man, a steadfast friend to everyone he met.
Tim’s heart was devoted to his family, whom he loved dearly. He leaves behind his other half Betsy, his cherished daughters Priscilla whom he adored beyond words can describe and Joetta, and his adored grandsons Ryan, Johnny, and Jaxson. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters Vicki and Debbie, and his brother James, along with countless friends who were like family.
