Lacy Shaundel Brown, a cherished daughter, sister, and companion, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Hampton, Virginia. Born on January 12, 1984 in Virginia Beach, Virginia (and one of the first babies born at Bayside Sentara Hospital), Lacy shone brightly for 41 years, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A lover of food, music, and animals, Lacy found immense joy in simple pleasures and shared this love with those around her. She belonged to that special group of people that lived by the Golden Rule, always treating others with kindness and respect.
Lacy leaves behind a devoted family who loved her deeply: her mother April (Bobby), her brother Nathen, her sister Jamie, her cousin Asia (Ross), her Aunt Heidi, her nephews Griffin and Ollie, along with her loving boyfriend Ryan and his mom Trudy. They, in addition to her beloved cats Frank and Sammy and many friends, will forever treasure the memories they created with her.
Lacy’s memory will continue to inspire acts of kindness and warmth, just as she did throughout her extraordinary life.
