John Robert Rodgers Jr. (JR) was born in Worcester MA.
He attended Worcester Vocational High School and later served in the United States Marine Corps. Following his years in the military, he worked faithfully in the envelope business for over 30 years, both in Massachusetts at Worcester Envelope and Classic Envelope, and later in Tampa, Florida at Tampa Envelope.
John leaves behind friends and family, but no one he will miss more than “The Little Man” (Andrew) who is not so little anymore, but who brought him the most joy in this world. He loved golfing, bowling and fishing and was an avid sports fan. Go Patriots and Red Sox!!!
You have gained your wings now Dad, go rest high and I hope wherever you are, you are enjoying all the things you love and seeing the world the way you once did. I hope they have wrestling and sports on 24/7 and you are at peace. You have been the best Dad and Papa a girl could ever ask for. You are so very loved and will be missed greatly.
