Yirong Lin was born October 25,1948 and passed from us peacefully Monday August 25, 2025 surrounded by family at Sentara Hospital of Williamsburg at the age of 76.
At the time Yirong was living at 5863 Montpelier Drive, Williamsburg with his beloved wife Zhu Ying Jiang and family. Yirong had planned to return for a last visit to his birthplace Fuzhou China this week. He was blessed fortunately to be here with all his children together in Williamsburg and his wife who was to go with him
He is survived by his wife and four children. All were with him when he came to peace with his daughters Jiaoru Lin, Yanyun Lin, Yanqing Lin and son Yinji Lin. Yirong Lin is blessed with five grandchildren who have been the joy and love of his life, Steven Lin, Jessica Feng, Jason Feng, Kevin Lin and dear Hanna Lin whom he shared much time with and his never ending smile in spending time together here. Yirong is also survived by two of close brothers in the States and his sister in China.
Yirong went to elementary school and like all in his family began working early in life becoming a skilled carpenter. He loved all of his family and gave his best, and more importantly, served his church more than forty-four years. He was focused on God, the Bible, and prayer. He had an unending love of eating! One of his great passions was building a garden with every possible type of vegetable and cared for gardens along side his wife Zhu Ying Jiang every day. He would do anything to help his family.
Most important to Yirong and his life has been Faith and Trust in the Lord. To Yirong the focus of his life has been faithfulness to family, faith in God, the church, prayer and bible to which he was devoted. He will always be remembered for the life of faith he has lived and the miracle God saved his peace by bringing all his wonderful family together as one!
