Terrence “Terry” L. Dale passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on August 11, 2025.
He was born in Richmond Indiana where he joined the Air Force and served in the Military Police for 6 years. He later moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to marry his loving wife & raise his family.
He retired from Verizon after 30 years where he worked as a lineman.
He is preceded in death by his parents William & Ellen Dale. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Diane Mason Dale, son Scott Dale & daughter Sally Gardner (Scott), grandchildren Hunter & Hannah Gardner and Allison & Olivia Dale.
He is also survived by two sisters Carolyn Henwood and Diana Crossley (Tom). And the best neighbors anyone could ask for Bill & Leslie Padden & Brian, Keira, Maya, Ben & Andrew Reese.
The greatest joy that Terry had was when he was with his family.
Visitation will be held at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Saturday August 23 from 1pm – 4pm
