Quentin Tyrone Frazier, of New Kent, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 56. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him.

Quentin was a man of quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and deep devotion to his family and community. Born on June 1, 1969, in Richmond, Virginia, he was raised with strong values that guided him throughout his life. He believed in hard work, helping others, and treating everyone with respect. Quentin loved working on, cleaning, and driving cars. He was the owner/operator of The Detail Shop of West Point, where he could take any vehicle and have it “Show Room” ready! If you ever stopped in, you could see Father and Son working side by side, sharing stories while getting work done.

Quentin loved spending time outdoors, cooking for loved ones, drag racing, and sharing stories that brought laughter and warmth to any room. He also loved music, singing and dancing. Quentin had a powerful and moving singing voice, that brought many to tears as he ministered comfort through song. He also loved to laugh! If Quentin was around, you could rest assured, you were going to leave with a smile and laughter through his jovial “cuttin’ up” spirit. Whether it was through his friendships, family gatherings, or simple everyday acts of kindness, Quentin left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maxine Frazier; his daughter, Ciara Frazier; grandchildren, Londynn aka “Curly” and Brayden aka “Cowboy” Frazier; his parents, Henry and Lucia Frazier; two sisters, Avis Frazier and Tiffany Lane; his Mother in Law, Barbara Washington; his Goddaughter, Kailynn Bassett; devoted friends, Michelle Johnson, Derrick Richard, Eddie King, Allen Billups, Corey Wallace, Raymond Piggott, and Anthony Black; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing Quentin’s spirit lives on in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the lives he touched. He will forever be remembered for his generous heart, easy smile, and the way he made everyone feel like family.
