Deloras Kay Miller, 82, passed away on April 12, 2025 from heart failure at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia.
A devoted mother, wife and friend, “Dee Dee” was a Warwick High School alumna, 1956-1959.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Jo Feagans Justice and husband, Scott Justice, of Newport News, and her son, William H. Blanchard Il, of Mansfield, Ohio.
She leaves behind good friends, Sharon Hall-Poole, of Hampton; Katie and Ryan Harrell, Franklin and Larry Blanchard, of Richmond.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Miller; parents, Cleo and Russell Sandidge; daughter, Audrey Blanchard; her son, Donald Blanchard; her brother, Ron and sister, Debbie.
“My mother was very special”, daughter, Bonnie said in reflection. She loved to bake, the Las Vegas Raiders and was skilled at baking and crafts. She especially enjoyed sewing cushions, pillows, clothing and other fabrics for family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Peninsula Memorial Park. Tributes in her honor may be made to Peninsula SPCA or Animal Welfare Office, Newport News, VA.
