Linda Poyourow Coleman, born on October 6, 1950, in Washington D.C., passed away on March 31, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 74.
Linda was the daughter of the late Lester Poyourow and Helene Scher Poyourow. She pursued a higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland. Following her graduation, she worked as a secretary for her step-father’s OBGYN practice.
Beyond her professional life, Linda had an appreciation for antiques and crafts, passions that she pursued with enthusiasm and creativity. Her love for these interests was evident to all who knew her and enriched the lives of those around her.
Linda is survived by her beloved son, Alexander J. Coleman, who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial service to honor Linda’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4900 Mooretown Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of her family and friends.
