Dehlia V. Otey 85 of Lanexa, VA went to be with Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Ripley, stepfather George Ripley, her father, Howard Wall, sisters Lorraine Mahone and Betty Stallard, and is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Herbert Otey, children, James Otey (Arnette), Gary Otey (Renee) and Mable Otey.
She is also survived by her brother, William Wall (Sue), grandchildren, Christina Hunley (Steve), Tiffany Vaught (Justin), and Brandon Pearson, great grandchildren, Arya, Kennedy, Alexander and Christian.
Dehlia retired from teacher after 22 ½ years with Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12 noon in the Providence Forge Chapel of Vincent Funeral Home 9923 Pocahontas Trail Providence Forge VA 23140, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
The interment will convene at 1:30 PM in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
