Emmett Crocker, 88, of New Kent, VA passed away on October 10, 2024.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked as a State Trooper and as a magistrate, spent 25 years with Tenneco Automotive, and was a 60 year member of the Mann Page Free Masons #157 AF & AM.
Emmett is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty A. Crocker; and three brothers, David Crocker, Ronald Crocker and Neil Crocker.
He is survived by his two sons, and their wives, Blake and Betsy Crocker, Todd and Sherry Crocker; one brother, Paul Crocker; four grandchildren, Brittany Bell, Ashley Crocker, Christopher Crocker, and Alison Whitehurst; and six great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kylie, Bayleigh, Charleigh, Piper and Jeffrey.
A funeral service will be held 2PM Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A viewing will be held from 5pm-7pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment to follow services at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 8101 Adkins Rd, Charles City, VA 23030.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethany Memorial Fund, or the VA State Police Memorial Fund.
