With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Vilma Santiago Daversa, who left this world surrounded by her family, on October 8, 2024, at the age of 65, after a battle with a brain tumor.
Born on October 4, 1959, Vilma graced this earth with her warmth and creativity, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate to know her.
Vilma was a devoted homemaker, whose true joy came from making things with her hands for family and friends. Her home was a place where delicious aromas came from the kitchen as she passionately cooked and crafted new dishes that delighted everyone around her. The love she poured into her culinary creations was matched only by her talent for woodworking, an interest she nurtured with great enthusiasm.
Her legacy is carried on by her loving family: her devoted husband, Sonny Daversa, and her two wonderful sons, James and Jason, all of whom were the light of her life.
Though her time with us has ended, the beautiful memories and lessons she imparted will continue to guide and uplift those she touched. Her unwavering love and kindness remind us to cherish each moment and each other.
Vilma Santiago Daversa will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May her journey into the next chapter be as beautiful and peaceful as the life she lived.
